Henry M. Parsons

Henry was born on November 6, 1846 to Harvey N. And Harriet E. (Nye) Parsons. His birthplace is listed in both Bangor, ME and Woodstock, NB, Canada.

He worked in a lumber mill in Boscawen, NH where he met and married Jennie P. Thurston on January 11, 1870. They had five children together.

In the 1880s they moved to Hopedale, MA where Henry worked as a woodworker for the Draper Machine Company and later the Hopedale Machine Company.

Jennie died in the early 1900s, and by 1910 Henry had retired and moved to Norwood, MA to live with his daughter Gertrude.

Henry passed from a cerebral hemorrhage on March 6, 1914 and was laid to rest in Hopedale Village Cemetery in Hopedale.
